The IRB reviews protocols and amendments via eProtocol, a web-based product to manage IACUC, IBC, and IRB protocols.
Two types of eProtocol users:
- Investigator users: Users with roles which include Principal Investigators (PIs), Co-Investigators, and other personnel working on the protocol. Investigator users can access those protocols that belong to the group owner (PI).
- Administrative users: Users with administrative roles which include IRB Administrators and IRB members.
Access to eProtocol is through your UTEP username and UTEP password. You will need to allow pop-up windows for eProtocol to work properly.
